  Our client, a key company in the food and drinks industry, is seeking a Sustainability Programme Manager to lead a range of major projects, focused on driving positive social and environmental change. This role is pivotal in delivering evidence-based solutions to support a more sustainable food system. The remit will be to represent the company’s sustainability agenda both internally and externally, building and managing strong networks with stakeholders and delivery partners to inform strategy and maximise programme impact.
    
  Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, you will oversee specific projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. You will track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), identify risks and opportunities, and recommend contingencies where needed. A critical part of the role involves collaborating with colleagues, industry partners, and consultants to produce reports and online content. You will also assess and interpret research around environmental data, methodologies, systems, and governance, ensuring that all sustainability initiatives are evidence-based and strategically sound.
    
  To apply, you will have will have food and consumer goods experience with a strong background in environmental sustainability. With excellent project management skills, you will be self-motivated and possess the ability to drive programmes independently, alongside the flexibility to address various sustainability challenges.
