Our client is a £multi-million consultancy within the food industry. Their focus is to drive change and to advise retailers and fmcg companies on best practice across a wide range of industry initiatives involving environment, economy and social issues. As part of their expansion programme they are now keen to recruit a range of Insight Analysts to be at the heart of both the clients commercial products and their internal decision making.
The primary focus of these roles will be to support and build insights for the fmcg and retail sectors, delivering reports on a variety of retail trends and developments and providing actionable insights, utilising a web-based platform. You will also track best practices and innovations on the latest retail developments, incorporating your research into reports and presentations. You will also support customer-specific projects and use primary research to forecast key retailer metrics and growth estimates.
To apply, you will have already gained some good initial experience of the grocery and consumer goods industry. With an understanding of developing excel data sets and forecasting, you will also be good at presenting information to audiences, either virtually or in person, providing opinions on key topics of relevance that will drive impact for the customer. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills will also be useful.
